A.                  Number of Schools Upgraded :Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA) Project was launched in November,2001.It is centrally sponsored scheme of Government of India(GOI) for strengthening Elementary Education. "SSA is an effort to provide useful and relevant elementary education for all children in the 6-14 age group,to Bridge social regional and gender gaps with active participation of the community in thye management of the schools"
